Checklist

In order that the hall can be kept in good condition for all, would Hirers please do the following at the end of each hire:

1. Weddings involving use of the whole of the Parish Hall and bar are charged at a rate of £300.00 PLUS and additional £100 returnable deposit. 50% should be paid at the time of booking (i.e. £200) with the remainder due 8 weeks prior to the function. Should you need to cancel your event for any reason, we require at least 2 weeks notice. You will then receive a full refund.
2. If you don’t think you will have time to do the cleaning the day after your event; please ask us to put you touch with our cleaners.
3. Your £100 deposit will be forfeited if the hall is left in an unfit condition.
4. PARKING: There is very limited space, so please park in the village square or elsewhere apart from when loading and unloading. Please ensure you do not park on any of the yellow lines, clearly marked ‘no parking’ as the house next door (Treventon) needs access at all times.
5. Please ensure that the hall floor is left in good condition ready for the next user. Sweep or mop the floor to remove any mess and or spillages. Cleaning equipment can be found in the kitchen and/or the cupboard near the stage.
6. Ensure tables are clean before putting away, and put chairs and tables away where you found them.
7. Check that all taps in the toilets and kitchen are turned off. Ensure the toilets are clean and the refrigerator is empty, clean, switched off and door left open if you have used it.
8. Please wash up, dry and put away any kitchen equipment you have used.
9. There is no rubbish collection at the St Keverne Parish Hall so please ensure you take your rubbish away with you.
10. Switch off any appliances you have used in the kitchen.
11. Check that all fire doors are shut, windows are closed and lights are off.
12. Lock the outer doors.
13. Return the key to the box.

Your deposit will be forfeited if the Conditions of Hire have not been met.
